SOUR is known for their unique PVs (promotional videos), otherwise known as music videos in the West, and they’re perhaps the epitome of using social media tools with great effect.

Their video hibi no neiro (the sound of everyday) was honored at the Japan Media Arts Festival last year.
This year they’re back with director Masashi Kawamura with this new video, MIRROR.

Here is the non-connected version.

Wait a second, what do I mean by “non-connected”? That’s like a Chekov’s Gun ain’t it? Surely there must be a connected version!

You’re right!

Point your cursors here and check out this highly interactive, and extremely amusing PV. It connects to Google, Facebook, Twitter, your webcam — and doesn’t, if you don’t want it to — to create an individualistic PV.

I’ve included some screen-shots from my experience.
